Key Account Manager

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. The candidate will be the first point of contact for SISME’s Customers and Business Partners. Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the candidate will use their experience to build strong relationships with Customers through excellent service and promote Sisme’s sales growth.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the implementation of the sales strategy and budget;
  • Provide support to customers regarding product features and availability;
  • Giving timely and precise answers to customers’ requests, co-ordinating with other Group Departments and Production Plants regarding:
    • meeting deadlines (OTD) and promoting customer needs within the company;
    • the management of customer quality issues in cooperation with the Technical and Quality departments;
    • the company’s product offering to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen Sisme’s position in its target market(s);
    • the identification of current and future customer needs in cooperation with the Technical and Research & Development Departments;
    • search for new customers and new business opportunities;
    • drafting regular reports for the Group Sales Manager.

Regular trade visits to European and non-European customers are part of the role.

Training, experience and skills:

  • Degree in scientific, technical, engineering or mathematical disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the role for B2B industrial companies; experience in electric motor companies is considered an asset;
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office tools; knowledge of SAP ERP is considered an asset;
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in both Italian and English;
  • Problem-solving oriented approach with demonstrated ability to handle customer issues;
  • Good teamwork and report writing skills;
  • Technical understanding, professionalism and strong sales motivation.
