Air movement motors
Motors for cassette units
Since 1997, Sisme has been producing motors for ceiling-mounted indoor air-conditioning terminal units, ‘Cassette’ in the dedicated terminology, for major European leaders in the sector; the prerogative of this type of air-conditioning unit is the high level of silence thanks to low fan rotation speeds, which implies the use of extremely quiet and reliable motors; the traditional asynchronous versions have been joined since 2008 by the production of permanent magnet synchronous versions (PMM), driven by Sisme's proprietary inverter.
Features
- Asynchronous motors with speed sockets or for autotransformers
- Permanent magnet synchronous motors with dedicated inverter board: high efficiency - low power consumption
- Versions for 600 and 900 mm cassettes
Technical data
- Power: 40÷100 W
- Rotary speed: 220÷1250 rpm
- PMM versions with inverter board:
- Speed control 0 - 10 Vdc / PWM
- On-board EMC filter
- Interfaceable protection features
Applications
- Air conditioning: ‘Cassette’ ceiling-mounted indoor terminal unit
Motors for Fancoil units
The motors that Sisme produces for this type of indoor air-conditioning unit have followed the sector's technological developments for decades, going from the classic ‘Fan Coil’ with centrifugal fans and asynchronous motors with speed sockets (since the 1980s, still widely used on the market today) to those with PMM motors and drive inverters (since 2008), ending with recent developments in terms of maximising the efficiency of the building air-conditioning system, with ‘Slim’ shallow-depth fan coil units, tangential fans and PMM motors with integrated electronics, possible candidates to replace underfloor air-conditioning systems due to the greater efficiency of the overall system.
Features
- Asynchronous motors with speed sockets;
- PMM motors for classic fan coils with centrifugal fans;
- PMM motors with integrated frequency inverter, for shallow depth fan coils and tangential fans;
Technical data
- Power ranges: 3÷ 120 W
- Rotational speed: 220÷1500 rpm
- Possibility of constant torque control (PMM versions, for fan coils in ducted air systems)
Applications
- Air-conditioning: floor-wall-channelled indoor terminal units;
