RSPP

A leading company in its sector that designs, manufactures and markets electric motors for various applications is looking for a RSPP who will be responsible for supporting the organisation in achieving its health and safety objectives on the basis of his or her specific knowledge, skills and competences. The resource, reporting to the Employer and coordinating with the function managers as well as with the Competent Doctor, will be in charge of:

  • Spread and strengthen the health and safety culture within the organisation in order to
    • develop awareness of risks associated with health and safety issues;
    • Valuing virtuous and collaborative health and safety behaviour;
    • prevent non-compliant behaviour;
  • Collaborate on the definition and implementation of procedures relating to internal and external health and safety communication, identifying roles, tasks and responsibilities;
  • Oversee the process of updating legislative and regulatory requirements;
  • Develop internal security procedures;
  • Carry out the analysis of health and safety education and training needs defined by the applicable legislative requirements and the organisation’s internal procedures in order to ensure the necessary level of competence of all concerned to perform their activities properly;
  • Periodically check the correct implementation of the plan and the effectiveness of training and education, and promote the implementation of corrective actions in case of critical issues;
  • Handling relations with the competent bodies and administrations concerning the safety of workers and the environment;
  • Environmental monitoring (discharges, waste, emissions, energy resources);
  • Keeping the emergency and evacuation plan up-to-date and organising regular rehearsals with staff to check its effectiveness;
  • Manage and constantly verify the suitability and correct use of DPI;
  • Draw up the annual plan of security measures required and authorised by the Board of Directors;
  • Coordinate safety, prevention and risk assessment activities by keeping the DVR constantly updated;
  • Prepare and manage reports on accidents at work;

 

Completing the profile:

  • Qualification as Prevention and Protection Service Manager (training course and subsequent updates required by Legislative Decree 81/08);
  • Degree preferably in occupational and environmental safety engineering or Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Management Engineering
  • Analytical and precision skills;
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
